Η Nikki Ponte γεννήθηκε το 1991 και ζει στον Καναδά.

Συμμετείχε στις οντισιόν της Νέας Υόρκης για το talent show Χ-factor και κέρδισε αμέσως τις εντυπώσεις της κριτικής επιτροπής με τον αυθορμητισμό και το ταλέντο της.

Έχει κάνει 10 χρόνια όπερα και τώρα φοιτά σε μουσικό πανεπιστήμιο του Καναδά. Έχει κερδίσει μουσικούς διαγωνισμούς στο Τορόντο και δηλώνει λάτρης της Aretha Franklin.

Ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα όνειρα της ήταν να έρθει στην Ελλάδα και το κατάφερε μέσα από τον διαγωνισμό του X-factor, όπου την γνωρίσαμε και έφτασε ένα βήμα πριν τον τελικό.

Η Nikki από τον Ιανουάριο του 2011 ανήκει στο δυναμικό της Sony Music.

Το τραγούδι το οποίο μας προτείνει, για να είναι εκείνη που θα μας εκπροσωπήσει στον διαγωνισμό τραγουδιού της Eurovision είναι το I Don’t Wanna Dance
